Is there any additional benefit to sleeping on gel-infused memory foam versus regular memory foam mattress pads / pillows?

Is there any additional benefit to sleeping on gel-infused memory foam versus regular memory foam mattress pads / pillows?

No: Sleep on whatever allows you to get a good night's rest & wake up refreshed w/o any aches or pains. Same goes for hard vs soft mattress and for (thickness of) pillows. Suicidal thoughts 2mos ago; saw doc- i'm ok. During that time, horror movies were the only thing providing distraction. Counterintuitive! why is this?

Couldn't sleep in MSLT- had short dreams/auditory hallucinations before being jolted awake when drifting off. Was the test basically a total waste?
