Diagnosing: I believe in doing a complete history and physical exam. Getting an impression. Then a plan. First a diagnostic plan which includes blood tests, x-rays , ct if i think it is necessary. Never assume. ...Read more

Doubtful: It is doubtful that you have an intestinal lymphoma. The main thing is that your weight has stabilized. Your doctor was probably correct his diagnosis of depression and anxiety as both of those can cause the symptoms that led to your weight loss. Overtime your weight will likely return unless of course you diet. Keep in touch with your family doctor if you develop any further symptoms so that you could be evaluated further if necessary. The likelihood of an intestinal lymphoma is exceedingly low. Enjoy your holidays. Best wishes. ...Read more

Neurosurgeon opinion: This opinion will give you the best answer. The problem appears to be the osteophyte and may reflect pressure on a nerve. It does not necessarily follow that this is the cause but may be a cause. The physiotherapy and meds are a conservative way of treatment. Has the pain gotten better? If so can you live with what you have? See the doc Best to you. ...Read more
