Would taking 10mg diazepam, 30mg remeron 10mg tyrptizol and 300mg lyrica (pregabalin) at night cause a hangover the following day. Thanks?
Am concerned: Is this being prescribed by one doctor? It may be dangerous polypharmacy. All of these drugs are sedating, and have many potential harmful interactions. They certainly could make someone feel hung-over, groggy and sedated in the morning. The dose of amitryptaline is pretty low, but the other drugs are in full dose and could be too much for you. Talk to your doctor and pharmacist. ...Read more
I'm on levetiracetam 500mg twice a day, topamax (topiramate) 100mg once at night and trazodone 100mg at night for chronic migraines. Now i'm having constipation?
Wow!: First, are your migraines controlled with all of these medicines? If not, and you are having adverse events, would first modify the above drugs. Topamax (topiramate) works best taken twice daily, and the dose needed may be a bit higher. I do not find migraine helped by Levetiracetam or trazadone usually, and there are many other choices which work far better. Re constipation, increase your dietary fibre. ...Read more
Why would my neurologist prescribe citalopram 20mg for headaches?Amitryptaline wasnt effective and reaction to topamax (topiramate). Headaches decreased, not gone.
Pain and depression : Sometimes headaches may be a somatic or physical manifestation of depression or anxiety. In that case, antidepressants such as Celexa (citalopram) may help. Ssri's may cause side effects including headaches, so if you still continue to have symptoms see your physician. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have chronic daily migraines/tension headaches. Currently taking Propanolol 120mg at night and Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) for HA. Not much help. Ideas?
Are tension headaches a symptom of Xanax (alprazolam) withdrawal? Been taking two .25mg pills daily for 2 years. Cut back to 1 pill, bad tension headaches now
May be withdrawal: Or return of anxiety and tension. Follow prescriber's advice for gradual tapering of xanax (alprazolam) (such as half a pill a week) and management of anxiety and tension through life skills/strategies (relaxation, visual imagery, rhythmic breathing, meditation, exercise, focus on positive thoughts and activities) can be very helpful. Best regards for your success. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Could 20mg Lexapro, (escitalopram) 30mg Remeron and 10mg Diazepam be causing a nagging headache each day. Thanks?
Seems likely: Headache can have many causes. But your combination of antidepressants certainly is a plausible cause. Remeron enhances the release of serotonin while Lexapro (escitalopram) interferes with serotonin clearance. You possibly have quite a lot of extracellular serotonin. If that is the case, then headache and elevated blood pressure can follow. ...Read more

Remeron (mirtazapine) is causing nagging headaches.I find it great for sleep.Would Trazadone cause headaches. Thanks?
Not commonly: Discuss this switch w/ the Doc who prescribes. Headaches are NOT a common side effect of Remeron (mirtazapine) either, so it might be something else entirely. Also those meds are not exactly interchangeeable. It's a good idea to seek possible direct cause of headache and to discuss choices w/ Doc. Best! ...Read more
Aura and daily tension headache, vomit .does topamax (topiramate) work for it?What is the safe mg a day?
Migraine and TTH: share common triggers such as stress, mental tension, fatigue, lack of sleep, alcohol, and menstruation. Because of overlapping features between these two disorders, many researchers believe that TTH and migraine are not discrete clinical entities but may represent different points on a continuum of headache severity with TTH at one end and migraine at the other. For Topamax (topiramate) see a physician. ...Read more
