If the bleeding is heavy or bothersome to you, then you can take 1 tablet twice a day for 5 days and then go back to 1 tablet daily. It may correct the problem sometimes. Yes: If you are taking your pill every day and haven't missed any pills, you are protected! Its ideal to take your pills about the same time every day, but being a few hours early or late is ok. Amethia is metabolized in part by the CYP3A4 enzyme & drugs that stimulate this enzyme may reduce effectiveness, but Fo-Ti seems to inhibit this enzyme so Fo-Ti may increase the levels of Amethia in your body- but this is theoretical and no one knows for sure.
