Trazadone or ambien (zolpidem)?: Before you make any changes to your medication regimen, you should discuss thoroughly with your provider. Now sounds like a good time to leave your doc a message about how Ambien (zolpidem) has become ineffective (which is one of the many drawbacks of habit forming meds).
