I have a horrid cold/flu thing. I have fever. I want 2 take nyquil but already took ambien (zolpidem). Will this put me to dead sleep? I surely don't want that!
No, not much...: Nyquil or other cold medicines don't do much to help get rid of pneumonia. Cold medicines can lessen one's cough and runny nose, but the pneumonia still has to heal up by itself... Gravol (dimenhydriante) is used for nausea, motion sickness, etc. Ia side effect of this drug is drowsiness. Nyquil also does this through a different drug. The combination may cause excessive drowsiness, etc. Don't recommend this if driving or operating machinery. Always ask your pharmacist before taking any over the counter drugs.
