As long as possible: You should wait at least 12 hours before taking ambien (zolpidem). If the drinks were very strong, you should wait a few more hours. It is not a good idea to mix alcohol with sleeping pills as they can slow or stop your breathing in high doses and cause oversedation or coma. It is better to find other ways to treat insomnia including cognitive behavioral therapy. ...Read more

First, insomnia.: Second, what was the cause of the insomnia. Several medial and psychiatric problems can cause insomnia. If Ambien (zolpidem) masked a medical problem, then it would return and perhaps be more severe. While Ambien (zolpidem) does not usually have a significant effect on daytime anxiety, there is a small possibility of rebound anxiety upon its cessation. If you are having other symptoms, please see your doctor. ...Read more

Can I mix 5mg Ambien (zolpidem) and 50mg trazodone? My Dr added the Ambien (zolpidem) but didn't say how exactly to take the two together
If prescribed that : Way. Ambien (zolpidem) is out of your system by now. As long as you're taking the prescribed dose of Oxycontin and he feel free to go ahead and do so. Also, for future reference, Ambien (zolpidem) as a minimal effect in terms of respiratory suppression so as long as you take the standard recommended adult dose of Ambien (zolpidem) along with the oxycodone i would not worry about it unless you happen to have advanced pulmonary disease. Prescribed flexeril for neck / nerve pain and also ambien (zolpidem) for sleep. I have never taken the two on the same day. Can I take ambien (zolpidem) to sleep after flex?
You can, but: Flexeril can cause drowsiness, and of course, Ambien (zolpidem) is intended to help you fall asleep. The two can easily have additive effects, so if you do take together, do not drive, or engage in any hazardous activities. Yes: Is not a good idea to start two kinds of meds at same time. Your headaches likely due to the interaction of both. Try Ambien (zolpidem) alone first and see. Seroquel (quetiapine): Seroquel can take some time to get used to. It is very sedating and if you combine it with ambien (zolpidem) I am not surprised that you are getting dizzy. Ive tried restoril trazadone remeron celexa an Ambien (zolpidem) none of them worked or just worked for like two weeks & stopped what's the best sleep meds ?
Worked for 2 weeks: only Ambien (zolpidem) is habit forming. If you took many of those COMBINED and not sleep well, means you have severe mental disease not just sleep problem. If Rx works for only 2w then means not proper dosing for long term benefit. You have severe problem and need a psychiatrist early to avoid aggravation and waste of time and health by symptomatic treatment. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Ihave been on generic Ambien (zolpidem) 10mg for 5 yrs now, seems as if it is startin not 2 work as well, isn't there a stronger/or different form of ambien (zolpidem)?
Other medications: Using Ambien (zolpidem) non-stop for that long would be expected to not work after awhile, because tolerance has likely developed. Ask your doctor about other possible medications that might pertain to your own case. I'm not sure if your sleep disturbance has been fully evaluated, as to why you need a medication like that for such an extended period? A sleep medicine doc and/ or psychiatrist could help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
