Am I Overweight For My Age And Height
I am 19 yrs old..I am very much overweight for my age and height i wanna lose weight but i can't resist food and over indulge usually ..Help..
Dietitian/wt watcher: If you can't resist food, there almost no chance you're going to be able to lose weight consistently. See doc to rule out other problems. A good doctor, good dietitian, good program such as weight watchers may help. Also counseling can be beneficial. There are weight loss drugs, but only work while you're taking them. Avoid health food store stuff as it doesn't work. Surgery? Good luck. ...Read more
Nearly two-thirds of the United States population is overweight. There are many ways to determine if a person is overweight, but experts believe that a person's body mass index (BMI) is the best way to assess an adult's weight in relation to their height. * A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 is considered normal. * Adults with a BMI between 25 and 29.9 are considered overweight. There are exceptions. For example, an athlete may have a higher BMI but not be overweight. * Adults with a BMI greater than 30 are considered obese. * Adults with a BMI greater than or equal to 40 are considered extremely obese. * Anyone more than 100 pounds overweight is considered morbidly obese. A person with a high BMI may have a normal amount of body fat is they have ...Read more
29/f. A little overweight for my age and height. My resting heart rate is always between 105-115 this is extremely high. What could be the cause?

In the absence of organic underlying pathology it frequently is a reflection of cardiopulmonary deconditioning. Please check in with a local health care provider or via the concierge at this website. ...Read more

PCOS usually involves irregular or absent menstrual bleeding as well as facial hair, loss of scalp hair, acne, obesity, acanthosis nigricans, etc. An endocrinologist, especially a GYN endocrinologist, is a good way to go. You decide: The "ideal weight" stuff is sub-science. If you're able to keep up with your athletic peers and like how you look, it's probably all good. I can't diagnose polycystic ovary syndrome at a distance (are your periods okay?), but the mainstay of treatment is aerobic fitness / conditioning. It's in your hands. Good luck. ...Read more
