Alzheimers And Remeron
I have been taking mirtazapine for 10 years. I have heard that Alzheimers can be caused by certain anti depressants. Could you please advise. Thanks?

They weren't there. Still, 10 yrs is a long time and I'd agree w/ a consideration/trial of life w/out it. Discuss w/ Dr. if you agree. Don't just stop! ...Read more

If either of you or your spouse are not 'keeping up' then you want to start talking about getting help. Taking care of your spouse cannot be at the expense of your health, so keep the dialog w/ doctors open and honest. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
It does: The exact mechanism is not known, but people with alzheimer's who do low-moderate level aerobic exercise (like a stationary bike or treadmill) daily have slower disease progression, less anger/anxiety and fewer complication than those who do not.
