Alum For Canker Sores
Put alum on my canker sores. The pain decreased, but the sores look bigger and whiter and bleed a bit. What's wrong with it?

I put alum power on my canker sores. The pain subdued a lot but the sores got whiter and look bigger. They also bleed a little. What's wrong?
Burn... : The way you treated you canker sore is basically a chemical cattery, or burn. This makes the sore feel better, but it still takes as long or sometimes longer to heal.
