Please help with dental pain control. I have vital irreversible pulpitis. An interappointment flare-up was treated w/ amoxicillin/Medrol/Violin. After the initial treatment, a local anesthesia with 2x 7.5-200 vicoprofen couldn't block pain. Any suggestion

Sorry to hear: If your question is how to manage pain must bring down inflammation and infection via Ibuprofen and antibiotics which you have been on. Make sure you take the Ibuprofen 600 or 800 mg every 4 to 6 hrs for 1st 24 hours until the inflammation is down so pain is less. If everything went well with root canal then have to wait, if u get swelling need to change the antibiotics. Report clearly to your den. ...Read more
