Is there any same kind of alternative medicine of Mebeverine for mild IBS-D. Because Mebeverine cause me excessive thirst and back pain at mid night?

I have "IBS" I'm using a drug "Duspatalin retard" my question is how long can I use it and which food i should & shouldn't have it, + general advise ?
Occasional use: We don't use this drug in the United States. However, it is is used for IBS elsewhere It causes dry mouth and constipation though. Constipation is not good for people with IBS long term unless all other measures that are safer and more healthy have failed..
