Yes, safe: California produced almonds are required to be pasteurized prior to sale by 1 of 3 methods: Roasting or blanching, steam or Polyethylene oxide contact. Vit E: Vit E is a valuable, beneficial antioxidant vitamin. However, natural E is far superior to synthetic E. It is safe to supplement with natural E up to 200 iu per day.
