Unlikely: This localized issue as you describe is unlike to be related to a food allergy. You can always stop the almond milk for a couple of weeks and see if it disappears but I doubt any relationship.

POSSIBLE,: Stop drinking the product, check with your primary care doc or an allergist to find out the cause. By the time, take some antihistamine, e.g. Claritin, (loratadine) zyrtec, etc and avoid rubbing the rash.

Have regular checkup: If family members have thyroid problems, it is not automatic that you will. Also, of all the hereditary diseases that you could have, thyroid problems (hypo or hyper) are not all that bad and they should be readily treatable. See your doctor for regular checkups, including feeling your thyroid and thyroid blood tests, to catch anything early.

Tests: Thyroid tests include two kinds -- function and physical appearance. One does not exclude the other. Lab testing can tell the function and antibody lab tests can tell inflammation. There are also lab tests for certain tumors. Radiology tests can tell the appearance ie nodules, inflammation, cysts, enlargement.

Yes, don't use it: Bladderwrack comes from seaweed, and contains a lot of iodine. Too much iodine can cause hyperthyroidism (or hypothyroidism). Also, bladderwrack does not help with weight loss. Also, since it is not regulated and comes from the sea, you don't know whether it contains mercury or other toxic metals.
