Coconut oil and olive oil are safe in pregnancy. Topical vitamin E oil is felt to be safe, but may cause contact dermatitis in some people, as can topical aloe vera.

I was surprised to find a study suggesting that women who regularly used almond oil for abdominal massage during pregnancy had increased risk of premature birth but more research is needed.
