Have been taking claratin 10 mg for few days and getting excellent sleep. Does this mean my main pblm is allergy and not nasal congestion?

Could be, but: allergy is sort of chronic inflammation, and that can lead to congestion too, if claritin helped, fine, stay on it, use it regularly for sometime, even if you have no symptoms, read the labels carefully to make sure it suits you. Non Allergic Rhiniti: Rhinitis is the condition that causes nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy nose, and a runny nose. It can be caused by allergies or not caused by allergies -- this is called non allergic rhinitis (nar). Nar is caused by strong odors perfumes, smoke and other irritants. I don't have any known allergies but I have a lot of nasal congestion daily since december to the point i can not breathe through my nose.
