I had a cold last month, now I have this weird thing as I smell dust everywhere, my nose is blocked, I had allergies all my life. Is this serious?
Allergies: Probably not. Try irrigating the nose on both sides with saline. Add 1 tsp salt to one quart of water and get a syringe and blow it into the nose. 50 cc each side 4 to five times a day. Yes it could: certainly be allergic or hypersensitivity reaction to the odor. Or you could just be too anxious to be rid of that smell.
