Several options: Sorry to hear about the symptoms. Vaseline is rarely a great option for lip therapy. On the other hand, non-petroleum based moisturizers can help, in addition to antihistamines that may reduce the soreness/swelling. I like vanicream or cetaphil as moisturizers, and for antihistamines i like the non-drowsy options -- Allegra (fexofenadine) is a good choice, and it can last for 12-24 hours depending on the dose. ...Read more
