I'm having a severe allergic reaction to eyelash glue...taking fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180 mg...eyes are red, swollen, itchy... what is maximum dose?
Contact allergy:eyes: A reaction to eyelash glue can be similar to poison ivy: it starts 1-4 days after exposure begins, involves a blistering rash, itches severely. It lasts +/- three weeks. This requires oral steroids frequently. Strong steroid creams are not used around the eyes because of risk of glaucoma/cataracts. Fexfenadine is not likely to control it. If continuing to get worse, see a doctor + get steroids.See 1 more doctor answer
