Possible: You don't need runny nose for diagnosing Allergic Rhinitis, esp if you have swollen nasal turbinates ancnad congestion which is the main criterion for its diagnosis. Let your doctor see u in follow up after using meds as prescribed. ...Read more

Few options: Although most cold preparations are not approved, a runny nose in a healthy, full term 6 month old could be managed with Cetirizine (zyrtec) or Diphenhydramine (benadryl). Given the wheezing and history of nebulized treatments, i would consult with the prescribing md for any additions. Also, suction the baby's nose immediately following neb treatments.
