What works to use on an allergic rash from betadine?

Avoid and meds

Elbow_rash
First it was important to identify betadine as the trigger of the rash, such that it can be avoided in the future. After a thorough skin cleaning to remove the betadine, typically oral antihistamines can reduce itching and topical cortisone medications may also help. The healing will be gradual.

What is good to use on an allergic rash from betadine contact?

Wash-off first, then

Open-uri20120710-8507-1qs5v3n
Like most other cause of contact-allergies, avoidance is best treatment. if +contact, best is to wash-off as well as you can with warm water and soap. Then depending how severe, topicals such as calamide/cortisone can be used if skin is intact/or only minor abrasion. Oral benadryl/zyrtec help with itching. If more severe, you may need eval and prescriptions from your doc. Good luck

Do allergic rashes caused by Betadine require a particular treatment?

No

Prednisone
Any topical allergic rash, including from Beta-dine, needs to be treated with anti-inflammatory medication. Often topical steroids, such as cortisone, are used. Sometimes oral steroids, such as prednisone, are needed if the rash is severe.

Open-uri20130115-27535-waf1sy
Adverse reactions to Fluconazole are uncommon but can manifest in various ways, but usually involve skin reactions including mucus membranes like oral ulcers. Other organ systems that can be affected include nervous, heart, muscle, eye and kidney. I just saw a young lady with second episode of severe mouth and vaginal symptoms after diflucan dose. It happens.

Is rosacea an allergic reaction?

No

Fever
Rosacea is an inherited condition characterized by extra sensitive skin, flushing, dilated blood vessels, inflammatory bumps that mimic acne, and enlarging bumpy nose. Common triggers are chronic sun exposure, caffeine, alcohol, and increase in core temperature, etc...The inflammatory reaction of rosacea is not histamine driven as it is in an allergic reaction.
