Depends: Bp's function is to kill bacteria, dry & exfoliate the skin--so some irritation & reddness can be expected--it comes in 2 concentrations over the counter: 5% & 10% (5 harder to find, can "thin" w/skin lotion). Maybe: Benzoyl peroxide can be harsh on the skin. Some people are sensitive and need to use other products b/c it turns their skin red and makes it dry.
