No advisable: You do not detail your "mild allergic reaction". If it is bloating and cramping and diarrhea, it is not an allergy but lactose intolerance and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will have no effect, but lactaid pills will. If you are truly allergic as in hives, throat swelling shortness of breath, etc, I would avoid dairy at all cost. See an allergist to get tested. ...Read more
