Bed bugs -itchy bite: I think 'yes' these are from bed bugs. These are insects and so their bites can certainly cause an allergic type reaction, just like a mosquito bite. New York City has a real problem with bed bugs as you might be aware. Hopefully you can avoid contact in the future because you will react the same way (or worse!) as allergy gets worse w/ time. This : This is tough to answer without a picture. There are several possibilities including bites (fleas or other), eczema or allergic contact dermatitis, lichen planus, folliculitis (staph infection), and others. I doubt bed bugs given the location. I would recommend you try a moisturizer such as cerave cream twice daily and if not better after a few days consider a trip to the dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment options.
