Allergies occur when your immune system is triggered by envirionmental factors it should ignore--for example, pollen in the air, or dander on a cat or dog--and creates cells to fight against them. An allergic reaction typically causes itching, congestion, or drainage, and ...Read more
Could shellac nail polish cause an allergic reaction in the form of an itchy throat. Without any rashes or pain etc near the actual nails/hands/feet.?
Unlikely: I would be worried more about allergic contact dermatitis or UV exposure, hope this isn't the case and you're taking all the precautions

Experiencing itchy rash. Also describe me: Skin redness/irritation and Allergic reaction. What should I do? Hand arms and legs mostly hands& arms help
Too little info: Most skin rashes need to be examined in order to offer meaningful insight. In the case of a reaction, a discussion about potential exposures is also necessary.
I have a strange rash that appeared on my wrist. It's very itchy and I don't think I've had a recent allergic reaction to anything.
Probably contact rxn: Hi Most itchy rashes localized to one spot are due to contact with a substance....and it can be to a substance that you have used or touched for many months...like a watch or detergent on the sleeve of your shirt....etc. Try looking up contact allergy on wedmd or truetest. My feet are itchy and burning after itching....and knees arms hands feet itches in night more...help me. I got red rashes after 2 days of itching. Tq?
Clean, don't scratch: Clean the bedding well. Gently clean your body well too and wipe w/ diluted vinegar or witch hazel, etc. Use a hypoallergic lotion too. Take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) as directed. If you still suffer, see a Dr. You might need a lb test and/or a Rx anti-inflammatory. Try hard to not scratch! Avoid infection.
My hands have a rash on them and it's very itchy and feels like they're burning too. What it is and how do I get a cure for it?
Rash: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.
I washed my hands mor than I should today and after I always put on sanitizer I woke up from a nap and have a bad itchy kinda burning rash. What is it?
Hi I'm maria and I suffer itchy and burning hands and feet to the point it swells up. ..idk if its a sign of a change of my allergies. But I want to know how I can handle it especially during the summer..
Hard to know: Is there a rash? Does it usually worsen during the summer? Can you describe the allergies? In general, seasonal or food allergies do not cause isolated cutaneous symptoms on the hands and feet. A metabolic, toxic or nutritional neuropathy can cause hands/feet burning without rash. Insect exposure at night (if only the hands/ feet, head are exposed) might present this way. Just thoughts.See 1 more doctor answer
Rash on just back of hand. Returned after bruising 1st time. Itchy burning and pink. Raised areas. No environment changes. Cause?
Itchy slightly burning rash on my arms, hands, fingers, legs and scrotum. Its not raised, but is slightly red. No distinct shape. No meds or allergy?
Here are some. ..: Since not urgent, so, still make effort to watch & identify potential offending factors in living environment and lifestyles besides tracing down if any family members have similar conditions as yours or if it's related with seasonal or hot muddy weather. Hopefully, you may find the causes for your itchy rashes in time after exhausting personal & professional efforts so to live on more comfortably
Very Itchy and tingly hands and feet, no rash or redness. Have no history of allergies. Started 3 days ago. Usually starts after eating. Why is this?
Need more info: Chances are that you have an allergy to something you are eating. It could be anything and sometimes hard to just guess the answer. The best thing to do is ask your family physician to recommend a referral to an allergist who will do testing to find the answer
Real bad itchy rash on arm by wrist. That's spreading n I itched them so bad they r open n pus comes out. N they be burning. Itch bad. Help swell a lil?
Benadryl (diphenhydramine) & see a doc: If the rash is bad, and especially if there is pus coming out, you should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible. In the meantime, otc Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (25-50mg every 4-6hrs for an adult) can relieve itching and swelling, but may make you feel sleepy, so be careful driving, etc.
For past few months recurring rash on ring finger. Starts itchy / burning & red w bumps that when popped have clear liquid. Keeps coming back. Help?
Allergy/irritant: Two possibilities come to mind: (a) soap or detergent got trapped in the ring causing the irritation (b) you have become allergic to the metal in the ring. Stop wearing your ring for a week to see if this helps. The next step would be finding out whether it's the detergent (take ring off when washing) or the ring metal. See allergist/derm to detect which metal you are allergic to for the latter.
I've had a poison ivy rash/blisters for 10 days now (on my outer wrist). It is still swollen, itchy, burning and sore. Is this normal? When will it fa
Cortisone cream: You likely have continuing contact with poison ivy through contaminated articles of clothing, the interior of you car (steering wheel, armrest?), or even furniture. You will need to apply a cortisone cream (may need a Rx strength) to the rash and using dish or laundry detergent to clean out (wear gloves) items (especially the shoes) you might have touched on the day of the exposure
Hello, The back of my hands have been feeling itchy and hot since yesterday. I've never had any allergic reaction to anything my entire life.
Hot feeling in hand: This may be due to inflammation, vasodilatation, cold exposure
Almost every week or every other week, I get eczema or like a tiny rash on my pinky finger. It gets really itchy and I can't sleep. Is it allergies?
I have red bumps on my both handas nd wrist and now it is spreading my other hand. They are not itchy, different sizes. Don't think allergic reaction?
Hand rash: Diagnosing a rash without a picture is very difficult, and what you're describing can be many things. We think in broad categories - like an allergic reaction to something you might have come in contact with (sometimes hard to remember exact thing), a mild eczematous reaction (even if it doesn't itch), a fungal infection, bug bites. Let your doc know if it's getting worse!
