All Over Itchy After Stopping Claritin
My nose is very itchy, and is also bleeding sometimes. I have been taking claritin, (loratadine) once i stop taking it, it starts happening again. What should I do?
Nasal itching: Symptoms of allergies are nasal itching, congestion, sneezing and runny nose. Nose bleeds can occur from "trauma" by nose blowing. Since antihistamines work, that suggests allergies. How does Claritin (loratadine) work? Im wondering what would happen when I take two, how does it effect my body. And if I take one and I still feel itchy, would taking two help control my symptoms more?

I've developed an itchy face ears mouth, can I take fexofenadine and loratadine together for faster results?
Yes but: You can use them together but they're practically identical so i don't know that you'll get much mileage out of the combination. You'd do better to use a second, different medicine with the antihistamine like a topical steroid cream. Or for really awful cases, an oral (or im) steroid. (you'd need to see your doc for that).
