No: Picking off moles won't kill anyone, at least not immediately. Of course, if base of mole gets infected after it's picked off, then yeah, i guess someone could die from that. But just plucking it off? Nah. However, i would imagine it to be difficult to pick it off completely. Best to have your family doc remove it and send to a pathologist to make sure there's nothing else to worry about. ...Read more

I had a black mostly flat mole that i accidentally picked off. I know this is not good however, if a mole or spot in cancerous.. Would the wound heal?

Usually not: If you have any pigmented spot/lesion still left behind, watch it for any further changes like increase in size or change in color. If this was a melanoma it will likely recurr over the next few months. If you are really wanting to be sure, then go see a dermatologist once or twice and they will do the needful monitoring and excision, if needed. ...Read more
