Any advice? I have been depressed and living in isolation all for years. Anyone to talk to?

Work Therapy: You are too much concentrating on yourself. Get out among people and go to work. The more you spend time at working, the more you will get your mind off of yourself. If you cannot find a job, then work at anything where you have to concentrate on what you are doing like cutting logs, farming, intense gardening, working with your hands involved. The more you think on the work is better. ...Read more

When i.Was younger i had intense interests in various things (ie dinosaurs) and i would constantly talk about it and.Know all facts. Is that aspergers?

Not so fast: Sometimes kids are bright, curious, and interested in things -- a normal state rather than diagnostic of a problem. Some kids with aspergers can also show such characteristics, especially if they cannot related to others except through their own specific interests. Please don't be so quick to self-diagnose. There is a short term benefit from lessening strife at home, as now the vision becomes the reason for poor performance - but the lessons do not help in the long run. ...Read more

What can I do to make my kid more social. My child is three and has been going to daycare facility for a year. At school i find her playing alone.

Start small: Some kids are very intimidated by bigger, group social situations, such as one would find in a day care center and can feel overwhelmed. They then isolate themselves. Also, many genetic & epigenetic causes are known, but no single known "trigger" that precipitates symptoms. ...Read more
