Aleve Cold Medication
I have been having headaches for the past 2-3 months everyday with nothing making them go away except for me going to sleep. I have tried medications but the only over the counter one i have found that helps is aleve although all it does is make it lessen

Only OTC medication I have found to help pain of Achilles tendonitis is aleve (naproxen). However, I have to take 600 mg. Is that safe on a regular basis?
Yes for short period: Of time, like 4-7 days or so. All nsaids are not recommended for anyone with kidney problems. Normal dose of aleve (naproxen) is 220 or 250 mg twice a day. For short periods of time up to 1000 mg maybe used. I would recommend pt for stretching and splint. As far as NSAIDs?: Naproxen in a recent danish study proved safer for the heart than all other non steroidal ant-inflammatory drugs, even compared to placebo. It will replace some of my other go to drugs. But there are caveats. It can irritate the stomach. It does negate aspirins cardio-protection.
