My sister took 12 aleve in a 12 hour period. She has the flu. She wont go to hospital She has stomach cramps, poison control said to take Zantac. She ?
Accidental overdose: Phillip291, 12 aleve in a 12 hour period is too many! I had a patient do the same thing trying to get rid of hip pain and end up in the hospital with very bad GI bleeding. Going to the hospital would be the best but if she won't then take her aleve away and keep an eye on her for the next 24 hours for bleeding. Have her drink 2 liters of water to flush her kidneys.
