However daily ingestion of 600-1200mg is quite a bit and may result in GI effects (ulcers, abdominal pain, pancreatitis, etc); headaches, low blood pressure, potassium abnormalites etc.Etc the list goes on and on. Possible : Directly and indirectly. I agree directly as per my colleague dr rutledge. But also indirectly from being dehydrated causing the heart to compensate for loss in volume and become irritable. I would recommend a reduction in alcohol consumption and consider keeping an eye out for a health fair or find a freeclinic to get a health assessment and assess risks. Tolerance: Using this amount for so long, you have likely developed a big tolerance for the effects of codeine. EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY!: In my opinion Coke Zero is poison and very unhealthy. I strongly advise NEVER drinking it if you want to have good health.
