Is fermented drinks such as kefir safe for the liver and kidneys? Do they contain alcohol?

Etoh in kefir: From what I just found out by googling the alcohol content of Kefir it depends on how it is made. Amazing what u can find on google. Try it sometime. The highest % ETOH is 3%. So convert your source ETOH % to how much you drink a day and see if you exceed 4 Oz of ETOH a day. If not should be OK. Seems like a lot of kefir. Cheers! ...Read more

What to do if i've been drinking a lot of alcohol over the past month. Have i done serious damage to my kidneys/liver?

What to do if i've been drinking a lot of alcohol over the past month. Have i done serious damage to my kidneys/liver?

What if the patient has liver cirrhosis (alcohol) and his kidneys have failed/are failing. Can Dialysis help. He is unconcious:-( ?

Poor prognosis : Renal failure in a patient with end-staged liver disease portends a very poor prognosis.
