How long after ovulation does implantation occur? Curious. Possibly drank alcohol a lot around this time!
Can alcohol impact the embryo during the 3rd week (1 week after conception)? If so, how? Wouldn't it just impact implantation? Didn't know and worried.

Implantation: Implantation bleeding is not really as common as the internet would have you believe. When it does happen it's usually 6-12 days after ovulation. Champagne n choclat: In small amounts (1 standard glass wine/beer etc/day), both alchol and chocolate have been associated with some positive health effects for some, but too much alcohol will damage your kidneys, liver, heart, esophogus n more. Too much choclate will also cause weight gain and the associated health risks. Serious health consequences from alcohol is probably much more common - than chocolate overdo. ...Read more
Topical, right?: I am assuming you mean topically during massage. Rubbing alocohol can do a couple of things to help get a massage deeper into muscles or relax them. First, the temper change and sensation on nerve endings in your skin can help muscles relax. Maybe: Absinthe is outlawed and illegal in the us. Some other countries do allow it, but much of the time, it has a very low amount of a potentially dangerous chemical called thujol alkaloids. Or the substance is removed entirely. The thujol alkaloids contained in the absinthe of yore, can cause severe and irreversible liver damage as well as cause hallucinations. See your doctor: Call your doctor. He/she can give you medications to help withdrawal symptoms. Do things to take your mind off alcohol. Drink at least 5 cups of water each day. Tell your family and friends that you are quitting, so they can support you and so they don't try to give you alcohol either. ...Read more
