Alcohol After Blood Test
Alcohol metabolism: Alcohol has a linear (mostly) metabolism curve. This means that the length of time depends entirely on how much alcohol was consumed. Estimates from cultural experience may or may not apply in your case to the minute, but have been through the courts on many a case of suspected DUI.
Have to say love good food and alcohol too, I'm well nourished by my blood test and love my booze too, I got abnormal lived result, not good sober 24/7?
Liver result: Hi there, You need to send us the liver results. We can tell from the pattern of ggt to alt/ast whether the culprit is alchohol, your gallbladder, your liver etc. The culprit is not always alcohol. Lipids are also a huge concern, as are drugs and autoimmune diseases amongst others. Please arrange a consult/appt with us and we can be more specefic as to why the liver result is abnormal.
Depends: If the blood test is to test for alcohol, then yes. If it is for other reasons, no. The alcohol may affect other test results, but unless ordered specifically, the alcohol will not be reported.

What do you suggest if my dad consumes alcohol more and wen blood test is done. This is in report plz help what to do?
I recommend: That his physician review the blood tests and make appropriate medical recommendations. Not sure what you are asking.
Bad idea: It would depend on the tests to be conducted. Some tests are affected by food and alcohol. Please discuss the matter with the doctor ordering the tests.
How can I get the alcohol out of my system before 24 hours so my blood test can say that there is no alcohol in my system?
Do not drink: Blood alcohol levels will not be abnormal at 24 hours after a drink. However there are other tests that can detect alcohol intake up to 80 hours earlier. It would depend on what test is being done. Some tests are positive for two weeks after the drink in a chronic drinker. See this site for info. Http://pubs. Niaaa. Nih. Will alcohol 24 hrs before a blood test show low hemogoblin levels? Male 23yo 56kg. Not too much protein in diet. Thanks.
If anemic: If a person is anemic, his hemoglobin test result will be low, regardless of whether or not he drank alcoholic drinks the day before. Likewise, if he is not anemic, his hemoglobin result will not be low, regardless of the alcoholic drinks he had the day before.
