Peds Sinusitis: Sounds like a pretty unhappy child, sorry about that. Lots of meds, too. We usually try to manage pediatric sinusitis with medications, like antibiotics and steroids. Can also use saline irrigation or spray in the nose. Further, a landmark study has shown that many children suffer from reflux and by treating, they often can get their sinusitis better. Sinusitis: You need to get to the bottom of this. See an allergist/immunologist, your child may have nasal allergies but his/her immune system also needs to be checked to rule out an immunodeficiency and they need to be checked for cystic fibrosis if the history is consistent. ...Read more
