Air bubble feeling in vagina? It is not a "queef" coz when it finally disperse there is no sound. Notice it more after wiping from urination. Why?
Vaginal "bubble": At age 52, there is more pelvic relaxation secondary to decreased estrogen levels. Vaginal delivery can predispose to this as well. The vagina opens a little , admitting air , and is noticeable after bending down to wipe. This is normal at this point in one's life, but if extreme can lead to incontinence eventually. See your provider for an examination. ...Read more

While masturbating it felt like there were air bubbles in my vagina but i did not stop, was air getting sucked inside? Can this cause an air embolism?
Air or discharge: Not sure exactly what you mean. If you mean is it normal to pass a small amount of air from the vagina from time to time then the answer is yes. That is very normal. If you are passing bubbly discharge then that is not normal and may indicate an infection. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I feel like I have air bubbles trapped in my vagina all the time. Could someone please explain what it means. My gyno is clueless on this.
Vaginal air: Well some women do retain some air in the vagina especially after having children as the lips of the vagina may be more gaping. Occasionally when women bare down or during sex they may make a sound that is similar to passing gas. Sometimes during a vaginal surgery once the patient relaxes you will hear a bit of air pass out the vaginal opening. ...Read more
See an OBGYN: This might be what is called a recto-vaginal fistula. It means an opening exists between your anal and vaginal canals. This will cause stool and gas to seep out of your vagina and likewise blood and vaginal discharge to seep from your anus. It may just heal, but you really need to see an obgyn so they can do a thorough rectal and vaginal exam to determine what the problem is. Be well. ...Read more

Got Mirena IUD yesterday; vagina feels like it has air bubbles coming out & I can't get a finger in to check strings cause its swollen. Normal?
Consult recommended: Need a little more information here. The flow of urine is turbulent as it comes out the urethra (end of penis) which may in itself cause bubbling but there are some other very uncommon disorders that cause gas in the urinary tract and you may need to have examination and a urinalysis done. Please consult a doctor licensed in the UK to resolve this further. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Not necessarily: Air bubbles when urinating implies a connection between the bladder and the colon (colovesical fistula), often seen with diverticular disease, and with advanced colon cancer. If there is a lot of bubbles in the bowl following urination, it may be normal, or may suggest increased amount of protein being voided. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
When im sitting down and I fart, i feel like air bubble leave near my vagina lips. Is this fistula? No surgery or child birth?
Not likely: A fistula is not likely in this situation. When you pass gas, it has to go somewhere. If you're sitting down, it's likely some of the air travels *ahem* forward and causes that sensation. If you're worried, your GYN take a look. Fístulas aren't very common in young, healthy patients. ...Read more
I have excessive clear vaginal discharge accompanied by pain and air bubbles, what could this be ?
Infection: Most likely trichomonas vaginalis infection, you will need to get pelvic exam and treatment. On occassion, it could just be a different infection - gardenerella vaginalis- also treatable, or some women just have natural discharge - which needs no treatment- the bubbless lead me to think of trich. Also if this is the case, your partner should be treated too-and use condoms! ...Read more
36 years, female. Feel a "pop" sound like air escaping after standing up after urination. My doctor says, air escaping from Vagina. Is it normal?

Pelvic pain and pain with sex. Now i feel as if something is in my vagina. I am leaking water (not urine) and air from my vagina. What could this be?
Vaginal air/fluids: Air gets trapped in the vagina naturally from exercise or certain movements. It is more common in women who have had multiple vaginal deliveries. Often the air will be expelled at inopportune social times, audibly. Vaginal lubricity is a function of a healthy non infected vagina and adequate fluid ingestion. Sexual arousal will enhance fluid production. ...Read more

Air bubbles coming out of vagina today. Haven't had sex in about a week. Could this be a sign of pregnancy? No other vaginal issues.
Disturbing: If you indeed have gas or bubble from the vagina, you should be seen by a gynecologist and examined thoroughly. This may well depend on your age and if you have had surgeries in the pelvic area, child birth or any instrumentation "down there". You may have developed a communication between your colon and your vagina (colo-vesicle fistula) and this needs attention. This can happen to the bladder. ...Read more
Yeast Infection/UTI: A one-time application or one-to-three-day regimen of an antifungal cream, ointment, tablet or suppository effectively clears a yeast infection in most cases. These meds are available by prescription or otc. ...Read more
Yeast?: If the burning is definitely vaginal or labial -- i.e. not within the urethra (urine passage) -- the most common cause is a vaginal yeast infection. Ask the chemist about an anti-yeast treatment like miconazole, clotrimazole, and many others (active ingredient ending in "azole"). If that doesn't work in a week or so, you'll need to see a doctor or clinic for diagnosis and treatment. Good luck! ...Read more
