I have lots of age spots on my arms and legs. Are there any home remedies available to lighten or reduce the appearance?
Age spots: I know of no effective home remedies to lighten or reduce their appearance. Particularly if due to sun exposure, I would first make sure to be evaluated by a dermatologist to make sure there are not more concerning skin issues, before focusing on the use of products that will lessen on lighten these age spots. Another 'age spot' is a raised darker lesion called a 'seborrheic keratosis' and are very common on sun exposed areas after 20-30 years old.
