Could melanoma be picked off? I picked a dark brown 4mm spot nothing there now besides some pink where it is healing. On leg 26male

Doubt melanoma but..: If you have the least concern of a melanoma, it needs to be seen. I suspect instead that you picked off a seborrheic keratosis -- melanomas really can't be picked off. Show your physician the site next time you have an office visit, or if a suspicious lesion recurs, get seen right away. ...Read more
