Not likely.: If your foot was not numb before having bunion surgery and became numb immediately after the surgery, the chances are, the numbness is a direct result of the surgery. CT myelogram?: EMG/NCS is probably one of the top tests to discover what's going on. Sorry it's taking this long to get things squared away. A CT MYELOGRAM can often times show things regarding nerve root compression that an MRI will never show and so that's another imaging modality that could be useful.
