Can I pass trichomoniis to my boyfriend through oral sex?

Can I pass trichomoniis to my boyfriend through oral sex?

Probably not: Trichomonas generally does not infect the oral cavity, and therefore not transmitted by oral sex. If you have vaginal trich, of course you should get it treated and best to avoid all sex until then. However, performing oral sex on your partner -- or him performing oral on you -- probably is risk free. But other STDs often co-exist with trich, so maybe risk of gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc. ...Read more

I have hpv16.can my boyfriend give me oral sex if he is still not vaccinated.? Thanks

I have hpv16.can my boyfriend give me oral sex if he is still not vaccinated.? Thanks

Yes but: Hpv is very common. Millions of men and women get hpv (16 and others) and never know it. They transmit it, their bodies clean the hpv, usually then it's gone. Hpv can cause cervical cancer, and Pap smears will prevent it. Hpv can also cause mouth and throat cancer, but they are not at all common. The chance of mouth cancer is probably not enough to worry about, but that's just my opinion. ...Read more

I was giving my boyfriend oral sex and when he ejaculated it was blood. What caused this to happ?

I was giving my boyfriend oral sex and when he ejaculated it was blood. What caused this to happ?

Hematospermia: Most likely, we'll never know why it happened. If he had pain, perhaps trauma (overenthusiastic?) or infection (prostatitis). Check out http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/blood-in-semen/my01214. If he's of similar age, there may be slightly increased risk for prostate cancer, thus should be checked out but data is sparse. My boyfriends has herpes, what worries me is that he wants to have oral sex with me and I'm worried that he;ll infect this area too. Is that possible?

My boyfriend want to have sex. I want to know can I give him bv if we have oral sex?

It should be safe: Men do not get BV -- at least they get no symptoms, even if exposed to the bacteria that overgrow in the vagina in women with BV. He is not at risk from either unprotected vaginal sex or performing oral sex on you. And of course oral sex by you is no risk. However, as you may know, gonorrhea and chlamydia are more common in women with BV, so get tested for them if not yet done. ...Read more

My boyfriend was positive for trich and had yet to take his meds for it but gave me oral sex. Is there a chance I can get trich?

My boyfriend was positive for trich and had yet to take his meds for it but gave me oral sex. Is there a chance I can get trich?

Doubt trichomonas: Unusual situation. There are no approved or known valid tests for trichomonas in men. I wonder if he really had nongonococal urethritis (NGU), for which trich is a possible but unusual cause. Or maybe chlamydia or gonorrhea. Are you confident your partner is being truthful? Trich is not transmitted by oral sex, so no worries there. If you've also had intercourse with him, you may need treatment. ...Read more

See your point.: Here's the thing. Chlamydia is often a "silent" std. This means that he could have had chlamydia long before he met you but not have known because he had no symptoms. Now that you have been with him ; he has chlamydia - you should get treated too. ...Read more
