I'm 54 weight 168 and 5 ft 7. I recently started having shortness of breath after short exercising, very short. What should I be concerned with.?
Hard to say: Unfortunately, it's hard to determine exactly what's going with the limited symptoms you describe; though it's not common to have shortness of breath after eating. It could be possibly related to reflux or microaspiration(as in food going down the wrong pipe). Aspiration?: My biggest concern would be she could have a swallowing disorder where, when she eats some of the liquids or solids are going down her windpipe. This is not an uncommon condition, but can be due to serious underlying disease such as dementia/stroke, but can occur due to other factors.
