Aside from pregnancy, why would you have menstration 11 weeks post partum, and not again (now 20 weeks post partum)? Not breastfeeding.
Irregular periods: From your question, you've basically had 2 1/2 months without a period. This can be common, but at this point likely hormonal and not due to prolactin (hormone of breastfeeding). Of course, you may be pregnant again, so check a test if that's a possibility. Second, your estrogen/progesterone balance may be off and that's why you haven't cycled. See a doctor if you're worried. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I have a TSH level of 5.69. Could breastfeeding or pregnancy cause this? Is my level considered high? Could this level affect my menstruation?
Yes: It is very important that you have your TSH checked again. If the level is similar, you must start thyroid hormone medication before you try to become pregnant. This mild elevation in TSH may make it harder to become pregnant. But more worrisome is your thyroid needs to make more hormone during pregnancy and your will become more hypothyroid. This has been shown to be bad for your baby. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
