Woke up with the worst pelvic pain & cramps I've ever had. Almost went to ER, but eased off after about 20min. Now moderate pain on both sides of pelvis & spotting. Is this my ovarian cysts rupturing? Do I need to call my GYN or can I ride it out?

No way to tell: that is a quite large cyst. it could rupture or twist, you should be monitored with ultrasound by a doctor, if it ruptures, you could have a fair amount of pain or possibly internal bleeding. if it twists, you could have pain or compromised ovary. sometimes nothing happens, it springs a small leak and goes away or needs interventional radiology to drain it or possibly a laparoscopy. see your doc. ...Read more
