After a car accident can your wrist start hrting. It has been abt 8 weeks and my right wrist is still sore and getting worse. No strength in it?
Undiagnosed injury: It is not uncommon to have injuries to the wrist go undiagnosed after a car accident, especially if there were other injuries involved. If there is still significant pain after 8 weeks, you should probably be examined by a specialist to rule out a significant latent injury. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have a scar that just formed on my right wrist as a result of a car accident. Would steroid creams help lighten the scar. I have an Rx for Betamethasone. As Drs say… Could this possibly do any 'harm ' if use liberally and for short period of time?
Probably won't help: Hypertrophic scarring / keloid formation is a frustrating complication in some patients after trauma or surgery. A strong topical steroid like betamethasone may provide a minimal amount of improvement. Basically, you're taking advantage of the side effect of prolonged use which is skin thinning. Use a small amount 2x daily for a month to know if it's working. Injectable steroids might work better. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

The main thing is in: -fection, this would be an emergency. I am having right wrist pain that is different from the normal pain I have. It's like something feels broken or fractured. I can't hold anything?
Wrist pain down the outside. Doctors don't know what it is. No swelling. Is sore for about 4-6 weeks then fine for another 3-4 weeks then sore again.
Not sure: I assume you mean the little finger side of your wrist. Pain on this side of wrist has many potential causes. Tendinitis is most likely cause, but ligament injuries can cause this as well. Try keeping track of what you are doing the few days before it hurts. Excessive exercise, sports, or typing and writing could all be contributing to your pain. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have wrist pain in my right wrist that comes and goes i'd say every few months, my mom thinks it's carpal tunnel but hasn't taken me to a doctor...
Causes vary: On and off pain can be tendinitis which hurts more with movement and grasping. Osteoarthritis is not a consideration at age 20. Rheumatoid arthritis is usually on both sides of the body) associated with swelling, and more constant. Carpal tunnel syndrome is usually felt as numbness, tingling, and/or pain in the hand. A doctor's history and physical exam and limited testing should sort this out. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Maybe: First, you should know that knee and wrist pain would arise from completely different parts of the spine (knee pain would arise from lumbar pathology, and wrist pain would arise from cervical pathology). If your pain is isolated to the joints, and is not radiating in nature, then i think it's unlikely to be spinal in origin, and may be isolated joint problems. See a physician if symptoms persist. ...Read more
