African Black Soap
If I use african black soap while taking Accutane will the soap counteract the medicines job in the long run? Maybe with the soaps oils?
No: Use any skin cleanser which is not drying or irritating. You will need something for dry skin, especially for your lips and possibly inside your nose. Don't spend a lot of money on soap because you just need something not too caustic. Ask your dermatologist for samples.
If I have an IgG allergy to banana, would I be okay to use African black soap to wash my face which is made from plantain ash? So far I haven't noticed any issues...
Yes: If you have not noticed any issues you are fine so far. You can use it as long it is not causing any problem
I had the scabies infection an I think there gone but I still have the bumps on my penus an the skin is pealing what should I do and how do I make them go away an I have used permethrin cream an African black soap?
Healing takes time: The itching can continue for weeks after treatment and peeling is normal. Try a calamine lotion and over the counter antihistamines such as Zyrtec or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the itching. Also a topical hydrocortisone cream can be helpful for itching. Vaseline can help with peeling. Remember to repeat the treatment in about 2 weeks and treat your family members as well.
I'm 20 years old and I've dealt with acne most of my life. I can't pay for high intense care treatment. I use African Black Soap. What do you prefer?
Acne treatment: Most teenagers (80%) have acne. It's a right of passage to adulthood and has variable expression in different people. You can check out different websites on treatment. Www. Mayoclinic. Com and www. Johnshopkins. Com. There are good OTC treatments (benzoyl peroxide) to start. Hospital clinics have sliding fee scales. There is hope for you. I just bought black African soap and I wanted to know if it is ok to use on my vagina, I do know not to let it enter my canal.?
Be Gentle: Your vagina has very sensitive skin that is particularly vulnerable to chemical compounds. A pure fragrance Free hypo-allergenic soap is best (externally only). And yes, please do not use soap inside your vagina. This is not a good idea and can lead to other problems.
Rumor: Oh my - that sounds like a rumor to me. Dark/ liver spots are not due to skin being dirty.
Compare: Read the labels. The difference will be evident when you compare the ingredientsSee 1 more doctor answer
Some help: Tar soaps have been used for eczema for a hundred years or more and can be mildly helpful for itching and the outbreak, but can be noisome cosmetically. Shea butter can be helpful by providing a lipid based moisturizing routine, but there are more elegant options that moisturize and heel skin barrier function to help eczema like the Cerave line and others.

Post inflammatory: Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation is a common and normal response during the healing process. When traumatized skin heals, redness, followed by dark discoloration often occurs. With time, the site will usually resume normal coloration to match the surrounding skin. Hypoallergenic noncomedogenic soaps and moisturizers may help (check the sensitive skin section of the pharmacy).
I cant get rid of my forehead acne! I have tried alot of acne spot treatments, toothpaste, cinammon with honey, and black soap. I'm 18 yeard old, female. Please help, im stressing out, I never had acne till I turn 17 but it wasn't bad and it would go away b
Toothpaste: I don't know who starts this hoax, but toothpaste can badly damage your skin. As you have experienced, OTC's, off label applications (like using toothpaste on forehead instead of teeth), and Internet "solutions" are at best worthless, at worst harmful. For best treatment please see a skin specialist, a Dermatologist. They treat problems like yours all day every day. See a Pro.See 3 more doctor answers
I used an antibacterial black soap on my face to get rid of acne and my skin didn't react to well to it. Two days later my skin started to peel off. Then im getting these facial scabs that really burn. I'm using aloe vera right now but it dosent seem to work
1st/2nd degree burn: You describe a first or deep first or superficial second degree burn from using the soap. Just like a sun burn it takes time to heal. Usually 7-10 days if not infected. Keep the area clean, try not to touch it, wash your hands frequently, and let your skin heal. Topical antibiotics like neosporin or bactroban (mupirocin) aid in the healing without promoting infection.See 1 more doctor answer

Hives all over my back/chest/face after I shower or have a bath for the last 10 years? Have tried multiple hypoallergenic soaps and shampoos, causes?
From Hot Shower/bath: It may be from taking a shower/bath with hot water as it raises your body temperature, and when you come out and use towel. That may trigger to the skin and stimulate histamine release, which causes hives. You should consult an allergist to find the cause and get appropriate treatment.See 1 more doctor answer

None: There are much safer solutions to lighten your skin than pills. You can start with a chemical peel such as vipeel and then use an enzymatic cream such as elure. It works for all skin types including blacks.

Is Marie France Kojic Soap safe to use for hyperpigmentation. What are some safe medications I can take to lighten black areas?
Dunno: In general hyper pigmentation involves an increased number of melanocytes or activity of those cells and soap just cleans the top layer of skin cells. I would go see a top dermatologist and discuss management issues with him/her.
