Could be: Most small cysts of the ovary and surrounding the ovary are benign. The critical aspect would be to see if the cyst grows over time. If it grew substantially, or if it acquired more solid areas, there may be a need to have it removed. I would discuss the situation with your obgyn. ...Read more

Hemorrhagic cyst: This sounds like a hemorrhagic cyst. It needs to be followed up in 2-3 months (usu. By pelvic ultrasound) to make sure it goes away. These cysts are nothing to worry about. They may cause pain on the side that they are on and should go away without any treatment. Thick walls: It means that the measurement of the wall thickness is increased. If you have had uncontrolled high blood pressure, that may make sense. IF not, it's possible the echo is over-reading it. One millimeter of increased thickness can result in the report saying "mild LVH" .The test isn't super accurate for subtle changes. ...Read more

Chiari Malformation: Well at least one of the features is present. Low lying cerebellar tonsils are dipping into the foramen magnum which is the big hole at the base of the skull that allows the spinal cord to pass up to the brain.
