Hi I'm taking Percocet forms herniated lumbar disc. Im having & am wondering if it's ok to take Advil 800 mg along side Percocet ?

Should be fine: You should be fine. 800 mg is the maximum dose to be taken by adults at any given time. That dose can be irritating to the stomach so if it wasn't too long ago eat some food to buffer any possible irritation. This high of a dose shouldn't be taken on a regular basis over a long period of time as it can harm the kidneys. I took 800 MG of advil at 11:55 pm last night it's now 3:30 am and I just took 1,000 mg of tylenol is that ok? Or was I not suppose to rake them together?
Is it ok to take 800 mg of Advil (600 plain advil and 1 200 advil pm) nightly? It's about the only thing works for my insomnia!
Be careful: Usually it is the diphenhydramine in the Advil PM that helps sleep. Unless you also have pain that is keeping you up, you don‘t need the ibuprofen/advil part of it. You could develop tolerance where the diphenhydramine can quit working if you take daily. It is also considered a potentially unsafe medication because of your age. Talk to your doctor. ...Read more
