Good question: I researched your question: the half life of extended release Niacin in Advicor (lovastatin and niacin) is very variable, & depends on gender, dose, & individual characteristics. Close follow up...: With the conditions you are mentioning and at your age your would fall under a high risk pregnancy if you become pregnant, which should not be a reason to absolutely not have a baby. The most important thing is that at that time you find Perinatologist( specialist in high risk pregnancies)and follow up closely.
