T'cytosis: Hello~ if you have idiopathic thrombocytosis do not take low dose aspirin, unless advice from hematology. It can makes it worse. The treatment is plasmapheresis (thrombopheresis) when platelets are >1.5million. You need to see and be followed by competent Heme-Oncologist thanks

Atenolol: Atenolol helps to decrease blood pressure and also decreases the force with which the heart ejects blood. It is a medicine to slow the heart rate and help prevent stress on the aorta.
His dilated aorta (or aortic aneurysm) is related to weakening of the connective tissue in the aorta and increases the risk of an aortic dissection, a surgical emergency. Heart-related complications may shorten the lifespan of people with this disease. Patients can survive well into their 60s. Good care and surgery may extend the lifespan further. ...Read more

What would cause a low protime level in a 43yr old if you are taking one adult baby aspirin a night?

From the information you're giving us I'm not certain the information you're giving us I'm not even certain why they did it in a testing on you. From what I can tell you don't have Lucas from this conversation ...Read more
