Perhaps: The right sided cyst sounds lke it may be a complex rather than a simple cyst and is likely to be causing you problems if it hasen't already. I presume your findings are per ultrasound. I would follow suggestions by you gne physician but it sounds like it may need to be resected. Either that or watchful waiting i.e. Repeat ultrasound. It may cause more pain during ovulation. ...Read more

Follow: Your dr advice. Doc will do a d;c to remove all parts of conception and clean out uterus. Talk to your OB and ask if this cyst is anything to worry about. It did not contribute to your miscarriage . I'm sorry for your great loss. ...Read more

Why can the see a Adnexal cyst 4.6 on CT but are unable to find by ultrasound d/t bowels being in the way.  I've tried twice can't find ovaries either?

The bowel: does not cause a problem on CT. However, the ultrasound sound beam cannot penetrate through bowel gas, the sound waves get entirely reflected, so anything behind bowel will not be seen on ultrasound. If the ovary happens to be positioned behind bowel, it will be obscured on ultrasound but still easily seen on CT. ...Read more
