Perhaps: The right sided cyst sounds lke it may be a complex rather than a simple cyst and is likely to be causing you problems if it hasen't already. I presume your findings are per ultrasound. I would follow suggestions by you gne physician but it sounds like it may need to be resected. Either that or watchful waiting i.e. Repeat ultrasound. Why can the see a Adnexal cyst 4.6 on CT but are unable to find by ultrasound d/t bowels being in the way. I've tried twice can't find ovaries either?
The bowel: does not cause a problem on CT. However, the ultrasound sound beam cannot penetrate through bowel gas, the sound waves get entirely reflected, so anything behind bowel will not be seen on ultrasound.
